TEAM OVERVIEW

Armada’s 2013 Boys Red team is part of the club’s competitive development pathway, providing players with a structured environment where technical quality, game understanding, confidence, and character can continue to grow together. At this stage, players are expected to compete with intensity, learn with purpose, and continue building the habits needed for higher levels of youth soccer.

Training
Sessions

Training sessions combine technical repetition with realistic game situations. Players continue improving first touch, passing, receiving, dribbling, finishing, 1v1 play, movement, transition, and decision-making. Sessions are designed to challenge players while helping them connect individual skill with team performance.

Practice
Location(s)

Armada teams train throughout the Nashville area. Nashville-based teams primarily train in Bellevue and West Nashville, while Antioch teams train at Orchard Bend Park. Armada is also expanding into East Nashville and Fairview as the club continues to grow across Middle Tennessee.

Competitive

The 2013 Boys Red team competes in a development-focused competitive environment where players are expected to apply technical and tactical learning under pressure. Competition is used to improve consistency, confidence, communication, teamwork, resilience, and readiness for future progression within Armada’s pathway.

TRAINING ENVIRONMENT

Armada’s competitive training environment is designed to challenge players while maintaining the club’s emphasis on development, sportsmanship, hard work, and team continuity. Players are expected to communicate, compete, solve problems, and take greater responsibility for their performance.

Training connects individual technical work with realistic tactical situations so players understand how their decisions affect the team. At the 2013 age level, greater emphasis is placed on movement, transition, support play, defending responsibly, and attacking with confidence and purpose.

TRAINING METHODOLOGY

Armada’s methodology emphasizes long-term technical, tactical, physical, and mental growth. Players are developed through a consistent learning environment where coaches help them refine skills, understand the game more deeply, and compete with greater purpose and discipline.

For 2013 Boys Red players, training increasingly focuses on tactical awareness, transition moments, combination play, positional responsibility, communication, and decision-making under pressure. The objective is to develop confident players who can adapt to the demands of higher-level competition.
