BOYS ACADEMY

Players: 2014

ACADEMY OVERVIEW

Armada’s 2014 Boys Academy continues the club’s long-term development pathway by giving players a structured environment where technical quality, game understanding, confidence, and character can grow together. Players are challenged through age-appropriate training while still being encouraged to enjoy the game, express themselves, and build strong habits that prepare them for the next stage of competitive soccer.

OUR BOYS ACADEMY HELPS PLAYERS BUILD STRONG HABITS FOR THE NEXT LEVEL.

Training
Sessions

Training combines technical repetition with game-based learning. Players continue developing first touch, dribbling, passing, receiving, finishing, 1v1 ability, movement, and decision-making. Sessions are designed to challenge players while keeping the environment positive, competitive, and development-focused.

Practice
Location(s)

Armada teams train throughout the Nashville area. Nashville-based teams primarily train in Bellevue and West Nashville, while Antioch teams train at Orchard Bend Park. Armada is also expanding into East Nashville and Fairview as the club continues to grow.

Competitive

The 2014 Boys Academy gives players opportunities to apply their development in competitive matches and team environments. The focus remains on learning, consistency, sportsmanship, and preparing players for the more advanced levels of Armada’s competitive pathway as they progress through the club.

TRAINING ENVIRONMENT

Armada’s training environment is built around player development, sportsmanship, consistency, and enjoyment of the game. Players are asked to work hard, communicate, solve problems, and take more responsibility for their decisions while receiving structured guidance from the coaching staff.

Training connects individual technical development with realistic game situations so players understand not only how to perform a skill, but when and why to use it. This helps prepare the 2014 Boys Academy for the increasing demands of competitive soccer.

TRAINING METHODOLOGY

Armada’s methodology prioritizes long-term improvement rather than short-term results. Players are developed technically, tactically, physically, and mentally through a consistent coaching environment and clear expectations for every age group.

For 2014 Boys Academy players, training increasingly connects individual skill with team concepts. Players are encouraged to recognize space, combine with teammates, defend responsibly, attack with purpose, and become more confident decision-makers without losing creativity or enjoyment.
